Lavish lillies hangin’ out,
“Look at me!“, they seem to shout…
With their pink and bright red hues,
They are more than just a snooze…
A #gorgeous tag suits them well,
Careful now, their heads might swell…
Still I think they are quite nice,
A piece of joy, of heaven’s slice!

Golden moon oh how you glow,
Your bloom of light shines cross the night…
Lighting up the ground below,
Revealing such an awesome sight…
Keeping dark from grabbing hold,
You guide us till the morning light…
Each month you’re there through times untold,
Your presence brings us much delight…
So as you set another time,
I hope you’ve liked this little rhyme.

Standing stout and very proud,
In this somewhat fertile ground…
Here you see its vibrant blooms,
Warding off some grey day glooms…
Not quite planned, no others near,
Grows this treasured volunteer…
At this sight my day improves,
And many hearts I pray it moves.
I actually snapped this photo just outside my place of work. It made me smile to see the volunteer flowers sprouting up and in full bloom on the grassy hillside near the building where I have not seen anything planted for years. I hope it has brightened your day too!

On center stage, this violet star,
Does call to bees, near and far…
“Come close to me, sit a spell,
Take home some sweet, from my well”…
Responding quick, to this call,
Come many bees, large and small…
They don’t stay long, busy bees,
So here she stands, as you please…
The show goes on, day to night,
A beautiful, pretty sight.
