Halloween Challenge, Day 22: How to be Dead (poem)

How to be dead, you’ve mastered now,

Your degree is on its way…

Congratulations! Take a bow,

There isn’t much more to say…

The afterlife is pretty sweet,

Well not so much in taste…

But when you dive in to a treat,

It won’t stick to your waist…

Enjoy your stay, eternally,

You’ll never fade away…

Just roam about, nocturnally,

And rest throughout the day!

This is my entry for Day 22 of the 31 Days of Halloween writing challenge (a beginner’s guide to the afterlife) hosted over at Flutter by Literature. Only 1 week left to join in the spooky fun!

This prompt made me think of another great Halloween themed movie that covers a new couple to the afterlife, Beetlejuice!
