I captured this view while working in our garden just before sundown on Friday evening. With so much outside work to do right now, I have had less time than I would like for working on some art projects but I continue to practice as time permits.

Our dianthus flowers are blooming strong right now. Really adds some color to our butterfly garden. I snapped this photo just yesterday early afternoon.
On the art endeavor front, I recently picked up some graphite pencils and blending stomp, a few charcoal pencils to go with some pastels, and some pastel paper. I hope to get some time to work on a few pieces soon. I will share those results here so stay tuned!

I didn’t have a lot of time for drawing but was toying with some shading and symmetry brush use. I have a better feel for spheres but need to work on other forms now. Also looking to work in pastel and charcoals for none digital work. I have ideas of creating some nice charcoals of pieces that I can then turn around and forge from steel. Though that is still months or more away. Not much else to report today. I hope you all have a great day!
