Painting Autumn, A Process Poem

Brushes at the ready,

Add some luscious greens,

Blending all together,

Building up the scene,

Add some drying grasses,

A touch of bare now things,

Now some color splashes,

The Autumn changes bring,

A bit of brown on edges,

The bleed softens the trees,

A water color painting,

Nature’s changes freeze.

—————

This isn’t a great photograph by any means. In fact, it is so poor it reminded me more of a water color painting the way most of the edges were captured soft and blended. Which, in turn, inspired this bit of writing about composing the scene as a painting. Not a total loss at least 🙂

Thanks or visiting. Feel free to stay and have a look around. Might be something more you’ll enjoy!

Have a great day!
