Thankful For: Holiday Season

Each day up to and including Thanksgiving I will write a post about something I am thankful for. If you like the idea I invite you to do the same.

Today I am thankful for the holiday season.

Each year at this time the world around me takes on such a bright and cheerful atmospheric existence. Decorations in every store. Lights and displays scattered throughout various neighboorhoods. It does a lot to improve ones mood now that the air is cold and the skies clouded over. Also helps to get into a festive mood for the coming of Christmas.

Love the idea, I’ve a gratitude journal, everynight I write 3 things I’m grateful for. Tonight I’ll write I’m grateful for: the rain; the books i got at the library today and being back at home after a long day running errands.
