The sun emerges from behind rain clouds just before dusk, casting a farewell salute to the fading day…

The yellow orange rays caress the damp yellow leaves of a fall tree, bathing it with a soft glow throughout…

Individual leaves blend together like a painting of water colors run together, giving the scene a surreal feel…

The dark, nearly black bark of the limbs a scaffold of support holding the soft colors aloft, still in the calm evening air…

Peaceful.
