This post is in response to the Daily Prompt. I tried the ping back on another prompt but must have messed it up so I am trying to get it figured out.
I think most of us here could be said to have a Penchant for life and sharing that life with others. Have a great day everyone!

Above a hilltop in the full afternoon sun…
A beautiful backdrop of blue sky and puffy white clouds…
A collection of colorful kites, greens, reds, oranges, dance in the sky…
Flying back and forth as if to disobey the law of gravity…
Anchored to the world only by thin strings, in the hands of children…
Almost free.

Nestled atop a hill on the other side of a green valley sits a small farm…
A white silo stands tall against the deep red barn casting a shadow from the orange morning sun…
Grazing quietly in the pasture beside the barn stands a herd of cows, their familiar black and white patterns standing out against the green grass…
A white picket fence runs along the pasture, stopping near a simple but sturdy house…
A young boy throws feed corn to an assortment of hens which hurry to snatch it up from between blades of grass…
Just another morning down on the farm.

Foggy mist rises from a small pond, lit up by the morning sun…
A triangular red flag stirs in the cool breeze waving from a pole just beyond the pond…
A tan, almost white patch of sand can be seen just a handful of yards to the left…
The golfer stands with feet apart, aligned with the target down course, the chosen club still raised in the air…
A little white ball sails through the air towards its destination as bystanders look on, waiting to see where it will land…
Suspense.
