I would have gotten away with it if it weren’t for you meddling kids! – Monstrous Halloween

“Ruh Roh Raggy!”, a familiar voice sounded.

The stuffed Scooby hopped over, his big wet tongue drenching me thoroughly.

“Scoob! Did you hear that?”, I asked.

“A gh-gh-gh-ghost!”, said a panicked Scooby and he bounded around the corner to flee. He ran smack into the ghost, as usual, tackling the poor decoration in the process.

The magical moment lasted only minutes when my favorite stuffed animal, a Scooby-Doo, came to life. It was wonderful!

It brought back so many fun memories of Scooby and his gang. I imagine it is one of the reasons I am so fond of Halloween. This show covered some type of haunt or spook each episode and Halloween is the only time of the year that we capture a bit of that fun in real life. It was one of my favorite shows! I still enjoy watching it and am glad to see new Scooby and Gang movies get created from time to time. And I still have my Scooby-Doo stuffed animal, pictured above! 🙂

When I read this prompt for the Monstrous Halloween writing prompt series:”Your favorite child’s toy comes to life”, I couldn’t wait to share this!

What would happen if your favorite child’s toy came to life? Tell us about it in the comments below or in a post on your own blog and link back here for all to share in the fun!
