Thankful For: Family Gatherings

Each day up to and including Thanksgiving I will post about one thing I am thankful for. I invite you to do the same if you like the idea.

Today, I am thankful for family gatherings.

My siblings and I are just like peas in a pod. OK, not really, but at least I am not the black sheep. Now that we are all adults we actually only see each other at special family gatherings. Today we all gathered to celebrate our mother’s birthday. It is why this post is so late in the day. I enjoy these opportunities to catch up with one another and I am thankful for them when they come along.
