All Nighters, A Twittering Tale

Sunlight streamed into the studio. Morning was here. This was the third all nighter in a row for Franz and it had finally paid off. His term paper was actually done. He would graduate after all but first, he needed some coffee.

I remember those days. Mostly I remember actually being able to pull all nighters. Now I can’t even manage a single all nighter without taking days to recover and risking a cold. Oh well, I am sure aging has had some benefits, just don’t ask me what 😉

Deals With Grim, A Rhyming Monstrousity

Listen close, a tale I have, you’ll want to hear it through,

I think it may, just might one day, also save you too,

You see it happened, the other night, the ghost of death he came,

Grim Reaper himself, my soul to take, I offered him a game,

We played it quick, victor I was, he was a real good sport,

Said listen here, a deal I’ll make, I’ll even make it short,

Gather for me, these little things, a book, a belt, and a bee,

And I in turn, will move along, and leave you to live free,

So searched, I did, for these small things, I found at first the belt,

Next I found a book for him, this one was bound in felt,

The bee was last, my hand it stung, as I put it in a jar,

Small price to pay, for my life to stay, I’d say I was hitting par,

True to his word, he took these things, instead of taking me,

Odd items indeed, what for? who cares? for I’m still living free!

Like A Good Neighbor, Bigfoot Is Here, A Neighborly Poem

Neighbors can be quite good friends,

Make a community,

Some stand out instead of blend,

Bigfoot is one of these,

Helping little ones cross the street,

He’s quite the crossing guard,

His house, it always looks so neat,

He keeps a proper yard,

Of him, we don’t have one complaint,

Wish others followed his lead,

Yes he is almost a saint,

A creature of good deeds.
