I don’t remember much about the ordeal. I am thankful for that. Just a hole in my memories. Everyone tells me I was gone for three days.
What I do remember, however, was the abduction itself. I was out on an evening walk, alone of course, enjoying the wonderful change from summer into autumn. The air cooled as the sun’s warmth retreated from the day, giving rise to a thickening fog.
Suddenly I was barely able to move. It was like being stuck inside a vat of gelatin. Significant resistance no matter what way I tried to move my arms or legs. Light flared bright just over the hill before me, seeming to come out of nowhere.
Then THEY approached. As their first shadows crested the hill, they looked like two giants. I was terrified, my heart racing in my chest to no avail. They moved with an uneven gait and as they drew closer their shadows took on a more direct size.
Standing about three feet tall, eyes glowing with internal luminescence, they looked at each other and made a nodding motion. The uglier of the two then pointed what looked like a remote control my way and my vision went black.
I awakened three days later by all accounts with nothing more than that memory and a range of cramps and bruises all over.
I can only bring this warning, never go out alone!
