I am pleased to announce the first of a new type of content here at mindescapes.net! Well, word searches aren’t new here but now you can actually complete them on your computer, phone, or tablet. Simply go to the word search, Back to School 2019 and choose a pen color and then highlight the words as you find them either by touch or mouse cursor. You can check the box next to each word as you find them to help you keep track of your progress.
This is new territory for our site so please take a moment, give it a whirl, and let me know how it can be improved. I’ll wait, no rush. The link if you missed it above is Back to School 2019.
I intend to create various forms of interactive 5 minute or less type treats to help you escape from it all for just a moment…mini brain-cations you might say…and this is the first attempt at tackling the in depth journey to make it happen.

Thank you, I will lighten it up some more, already is at .2 opacity but the way it overdraws causes it to build up. May have to put a redraw timer in or something to limit the overdrawing. I will work on it some more, see what works out well. Thank you very much for the feedback!

OK, I believe the overwrite issue has been corrected. I also re-arranged a bit so the word list is at the top and the pen colors are along the bottom. I think the word list is the more important of the 2. I hope you enjoy as I intend to create more of these over time.
