Each day up to and including Thanksgiving I will post about one thing I am thankful for. I invite you to do the same if you like the idea.
Today, I am thankful for over the air television, also known as broadcast television.
Broadcast television has really exploded with the conversion to digital broadcasting as many of the base stations are now sporting two or more separate content broadcasts. Positioned where our house is we are able to pick up over 60 different content streams from multiple nearby cities. Mainstream networks as well as networks broadcasting movies most hours of the days and also old television shows from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. There are multiple streams of public broadcasting content as well. Enough variety that it is easy to find something for every interest. It really saves a lot of money versus paying for cable or satellite and passes the time just as well when desired.
What are you thankful for today?

Where are you? As you talk of Thanksgiving which I guess is an American festival of celebration.

I live in the state of Ohio in the U.S. Yeah, Thanksgiving is a holiday here related to our past that doesn’t apply elsewhere in the world. Still does not hurt to reflect and be thankful for the things in life even when not celebrating Thanksgiving 🙂
