Artistic blacksmithing has been a hobby of mine for many years. Unfortunately I had to close up my shop when I moved and then life happened. Now, after a 10 year hiatus, I have recently managed to bring my forge back to life! One thing I am not, however, is a farrier (a person who shoes horses). Artistic blacksmithing tends to focus on many of the other items blacksmiths would craft, from simple hooks and hinges, to fancy railings and gates. With that said, I am glad to introduce you to Sponseller Forge!
In this space I will be including updates on my journey back into this wonderful hobby as well as covering topics that aspiring smiths may find useful. If you have any interest in the craft then you are in the right place to find out more.
